T and I, both having the day off ON a day WITHOUT rain (which seems to be a blessing these days), took off on our first Seattle adventure of the summer. We hold the city of Seattle near and dear to both of our hearts, and it is by far our favorite place to go and explore together. We always wined up finding something new to do and some new little place to fall in love with.

Our first accomplishment of the day was finding $3.99 / gallon for gas on our 2 hours drive up (which is sadly a huge improvement for Washington) @ our favorite gas station. Yes, don't make fun. We have a favorite gas station. We know, were cool. Not only is it the cheapest, it also has outstandingly clean bathrooms [check], and a full sized Market full of any type of food you could imagine for a road trip from fresh fruit to frozen pizza, smoothies and pastries [check]. The Best of the Best.

For lunch, we drove up to Freemont to eat at a little hole in the wall restaurant that leaves your mouth watering. Paseo's serves an assortment of authentic Cuban sandwiches and Salads that are beyond delish & to add to the experience all you do is pop a squat on the side of the road and dig in to eat. Fine dining my friends. I highly recommend it, as will any true Seattlite.

We then did the traditional walk through Pike Place and took in the beauty of the fresh flowers being arranged into bouquets, the assortment of fish flying through the marketplace, the sweet smell of our favorite donuts (yes we indulged today and bought some) and admired the work of all the artists selling their pieces.

We then took a walk down beneath Pike Place to the infamous gum wall where thousands of people have left their mark on this little alley way, and have together created a masterpiece of sticky and colorful wads of sugar and saliva. Yum. Im as guilty as they come however... I've got at least 5 pieces contributed to it all and added a fresh piece today.

For the rest of our day we cruised around Seattle, took a long walk to the Space Needle, snapped a couple photos and enjoyed spending the rest of the day how ever we so pleased.
After a few purchases at Urban Outfitters, one last Starbucks stop, and dinner at Chipotle we beat the parking meter and headed home. Above are a few of my favorites taken today.

Happy Thursday.
