This is my desk.

It's a week and a half before finals. Life has sped up to full speed. From approx. 7am-2am my day is full of class, homework, projects, papers, work, and keeping up with the rest of my life

...And Here is my faithful desk.

Covered. Make-up spread across, headphones to keep out unwanted noise, coffee and tea to stay awake, headbands to keep back the crazy hair, highlighters for studying, as well as a random collection of modge podge, sticky notes, business cards, kleenex, notebooks and pictures.

Pictures of the loved ones I get to go home to in 3 sweet weeks.

...And all that is standing in between me and Washington is cleaning up this desk, finishing off a 17 unit semester, and packing up this dorm that I have learned to call 'home.'

If this was twitter: #bittersweet

No matter how excited I am to go home for the summer, APU has become my home away from home & I am not quite sure if Im ready to leave all that I have gained here just yet.

For now,
xo

Out of Breath & Catching Up!

Phew..I'll admit it, I thought this whole blogging thing would be easy to keep up on... Turns out being a full time college student, with a job, a boyfriend, and whats even left for a social life doesn't necessarily leave room for all the time in the world to blog...BUT I promise in 3 sweet weeks when the wonderfully anticipated SUMMER VACAY comes along, this blog will come alive and give off a much better first impression... (See previous post)

This last week was my Spring Break and I got to go back home to rainy ole' Washington to spend time with family and friends, relax, & be in my best friend, Sharon's Wedding!

Last Saturday, I got to witness one of the most amazing love stories fall together in a happily ever after wedding and I could not be happier for the new Mrs. Sharon Berg. After knowing Sharon for 15 years it was so special to be apart of her big day!

15 years of friendship with these two
Isn't this picture gorgeous?
God blessed us with a sunny day in April in Washington...unheard of!

As Soon as I got back from school I literally ran to my hair salon for a snip snip and alil update on the roots...and wahla! This is how it turned out! I absolutely love the color and the cut! Thanks Tiffany! xo

I also loved being home with my family. Here are some cute shots from Easter Sunday!

And here's to the promise of a more consistent blog...
